Hi, I’m Naomi — a wife, mama of five, and Christian parenting coach who knows what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, reactive, and unsure how to respond to my kid’s emotional overwhelm. For years, I wanted to parent differently than the way I was raised, but I didn’t know how. Through my own healing journey, God began teaching me how to move from control and chaos into becoming a calm, joyful parent, knowing how to help my kids handle their big emotions and handling my own as well. Now I help other Christian parents do the same—parenting from a place of peace, grace, and grounded presence. I am here to support and guide you as you create a joy-filled home rooted in God’s love, where your children feel safe, seen, and deeply known.
If you’re ready to parent with peace instead of stress, to respond with grace instead of frustration, and to build a home filled with connection, joy, and the presence of God—this podcast is for you. Let’s go deep to grow strong together!

In today’s episode of Peaceful Christian Parenting, I’m sharing my story of lying as a child, the fear and shame that fueled it, and how God has been rewriting that story in my parenting. Together we’ll explore why children lie, what’s really going on beneath the surface, and how to create safety and connection so they feel free to tell the truth.
Instead of punishing lies, I’ll show you how to pause, pray, and respond with mercy—building bridges of trust rather than walls of shame. We’ll also look at how God Himself responds to lies in Scripture, from Adam and Eve to Peter, and how His redemptive love can shape the way we parent today.
If you’ve ever struggled with a child who lies, or carried your own childhood wounds around fear and dishonesty, this episode will encourage your heart with hope, healing, and practical tools for parenting in God’s love.

Do you ever feel powerless when parenting your strong-willed child? I know I did. My son’s determination pushed every button in me, and I often found myself in daily battles over everything from brushing teeth to eating meals. I had committed to not spanking, but I felt stuck—I didn’t want to overpower him, yet I didn’t know how else to lead him.
In this episode of Peaceful Christian Parenting, I share the three shifts that completely transformed how I parent my strong-willed child: recognizing my own limiting beliefs, teaching the why behind our family boundaries, and letting go of rigidity to embrace flexible stability. I’ll also tell you a story of how these changes led to deeper connection—and even a sweet little book my son made for me called “Mom and Asher Best Friends.”
If you’re tired of constant battles and want to see your strong-willed child’s determination as a gift rather than a problem, this episode will give you hope, encouragement, and practical steps to move from disconnection to connection.

In this episode of Peaceful Christian Parenting, I’m sharing how my view of obedience has been completely reshaped by the Hebrew meaning of the word—“to listen.” For years, I believed obedience meant quick, unquestioning compliance, and I even spanked for disobedience. But as I’ve grown in my walk with God, I’ve realized that obedience is not about fear or force—it’s about relationship.
I’ll take you through what I’ve learned from Scripture, including the story of Jonah, and how God models obedience with patience, support, and love. You’ll hear how I now teach my children to thoughtfully listen and respond rather than blindly obey—and how I’ve learned to support them step by step instead of punishing or labeling them.
If you’ve ever wondered how to handle disobedience without resorting to fear or punishment, this episode will give you practical tools and a fresh perspective rooted in God’s heart for connection.

In this episode of Peaceful Christian Parenting, I’m opening up about something every mom faces at some point — mom guilt. If you’ve ever heard that whisper, “You’re not enough,” this conversation is for you.
I share a real story from my own parenting (yes, even a water bottle moment with my five-year-old!) and talk honestly about the difference between guilt and shame. Here’s the big idea: guilt can be a gift — it points us back to our values and offers a way forward. But shame attacks our identity and keeps us stuck.
Together, we’ll walk through practical steps of repair — first in our own hearts, and then in our relationships with our kids. And we’ll invite Jesus into those hidden places of shame so His love and truth can bring freedom.
My prayer is that this episode encourages your heart, gives you fresh hope for your parenting, and reminds you that God’s extravagant grace is for you, right here and right now.

Have you ever felt the heavy weight of needing to “get it right” as a parent? In this episode of Peacful Christian Parenting, I share my own journey of realizing I was a hidden perfectionist—and how God gently invited me to let go of perfection and receive His process of love instead. Together, we’ll look at how perfectionism shows up in parenting, why shame fuels the cycle, and how shifting from “power over” or “power under” to a “power with” approach brings more connection and healing with our kids. My prayer is that you’ll leave this conversation encouraged, with practical ways to invite curiosity, acceptance, and grace into your parenting journey.
